Cooking with Mike, again!

We took another cooking class with Mike.  This one was Sichuan, in preparation for our departure to Chengdu the next day.
 Home style tofu
 Egg and mushroom soup
Pork and cabbage

We also tried our luck in carving rabbits in carrots with very mixed results.  Hardly anyone's resembled a rabbit, mostly strange blobby shapes!

The video did not upload correctly, so I took it down.

We decided to wander around the areas near by with a notion that we might be able to find an electronics store which would have a storage device for iPhones.  There were 3 of these places in a row, Gome, Brookstone, and Suning.  Gome did not have the device for iPhone only Android, Brookstone had it for about $100, and Suning did not have it, but would order it from another one near by and have it in 1/2 hour.  We went back to Brookstone, and Bill purchased the iKlips.  It has a good app and decent design.  He seems happy with it.  I did not want to shell out $100 if his would hold both of our photos easily.

We then headed over to another shopping area which was a maze of small shops and stalls as well as restaurants.  We found an Indian place and had a really nice lunch.
 Dal, spicy at that!
 Chicken Saag above
Mint Naan below, and cheese naan above

After wandering about, we meet up with Carl on last time at a different Yunnan restaurant close to his home.  Got into a cab and called it a night.
